Residential Quarters are available for the Married Research Scholars and Post Doctoral Fellows.

Madurai Kamaraj University provides hostels and guesthouse to married Research scholars in their research purpose for three years and also the extension of their individual research projects. The hostels on the MKU Campus are allotted to senior students. As and when vacancies arise, students will be shifted to other rooms.

Medical Emergency:
For all medical needs the research scholars should contact the Medical Officer at the MKU campus. However in case of a medical emergency the Research Scholars staying in the Hostel should contact hospitals and follow instructions given separately towards the end of this brochure. The Medical Officer at the MKU campus should be informed about the medical emergency as soon as possible. Madurai Kamaraj University has all basic amenities like canteen, medical, transport, library, internet (Wi-Fi).

A 24*7 security services will be provided for Married Research Scholar.
